part-owner of a ball team, wouldn’t you use the batting cage? Throw bp or play catch? Bush had AMPLE opportunity to practice playing baseball before becoming president. That’s just not on Obama’s resume.

I visited a friend at Michigan and almost got an MIP (minor in possession) and I was shocked. I didn’t even know such things existed on college campuses.

In our freshman dorm, they told us that if we were going to drink, to please drink with our doors open because it’s safer.

WUPD was awesome. One time my friend got his ass kicked at a club in downtown St. Louis by the bouncers, got no help from the corrupt police officers outside. He asked a WUPD officer what he thought he could do. The WUPD guy suggested that his best option was probably throwing a brick through the club’s window, but sure to wear gloves.

I got into an incident

downtown in 2004 and ended up breaking my front teeth. I told the cop the guy (well the sidewalk, really) knocked my teeth out, and the cop told me my teeth were fine.

doesn’t sound too different from my experience. dancing with some random woman, out of no where I get grabbd by 2 huge dudes and tossed outside into the waiting arms of STL officers, who shoved me down. When I laughed at how they were overreacting, they maced me and threw me into the car. That night sucked…I wish I would’ve done more to call attention to it or fight the charges, but I kinda just took it.

Live music (often jazz) and you won’t have to put up with many, if any, college students. For some reason, Wash U kids just don’t go there. My friends and I went there to sit around and drink good beer when we got tired of the college bar scene.

it’s one of those split type of towns where it’s either rich or ghetto. all in the same town. and the traffic there kind fo sucks with hanley, big bend, and manchester all running through parts of it. i would suggest kirkwood or webster groves instead.
