hi, mr. president.
there is a baseball game on right now.
The first thing that a pitcher has to understand is that Albert is better than you.-- Jim Palmer
come on
give him his due
"Albert hits good pitches hard and bad pitches even harder. And when he gets in the batter's box, if you pray, then you start praying. And if you don't pray, you think about starting."--Brian Bannister
mixed blessing
It distracts from the NL’s terrible at-bats.

I have comments.
I’m not making them.
"If I prepare myself, my stuff is good and I'm going to get outs. That is a fact." - Chris Carpenter
i'm not politically biased
i just don’t think it’s that hard to make one throw. i could be wrong, and if i am i’ll admit it
It kind of sounds like he’s [Duncan] just running around like a puppy out there – full speed ahead in random directions. – BTown Birds Fan
It's probably a bit hard to make a throw with a vest on...
That’s the real reason he was wearing the jacket… you don’t need one of those in STL in summer
If you were a
part-owner of a ball team, wouldn’t you use the batting cage? Throw bp or play catch? Bush had AMPLE opportunity to practice playing baseball before becoming president. That’s just not on Obama’s resume.
His throw was a little short, but it was respectable.
"If I prepare myself, my stuff is good and I'm going to get outs. That is a fact." - Chris Carpenter
i wasn't compaing the two spants
Obama said he’s been practicing in the rose garden. with the vest & jacket on i’m sure it was different than how he practiced it.

I just think Bush's

So,
you call Obama’s throw bad? It was a tiny bit short, but right on the plate. It was respectable.
"If I prepare myself, my stuff is good and I'm going to get outs. That is a fact." - Chris Carpenter
no, i was just agreeing with you about the previous POTUS
it wasn’t bad, i just didn’t see it bounce at first. i was surprised it did that’s all, nothing more

WUPD was awesome. One time my friend got his ass kicked at a club in downtown St. Louis by the bouncers, got no help from the corrupt police officers outside. He asked a WUPD officer what he thought he could do. The WUPD guy suggested that his best option was probably throwing a brick through the club’s window, but sure to wear gloves.
I got into an incident
downtown in 2004 and ended up breaking my front teeth. I told the cop the guy (well the sidewalk, really) knocked my teeth out, and the cop told me my teeth were fine.
I was holding half of a tooth at the time.

doesn’t sound too different from my experience. dancing with some random woman, out of no where I get grabbd by 2 huge dudes and tossed outside into the waiting arms of STL officers, who shoved me down. When I laughed at how they were overreacting, they maced me and threw me into the car. That night sucked…I wish I would’ve done more to call attention to it or fight the charges, but I kinda just took it.
married now....
quieter days ahead, but yeah, we really want to checkout the Loop. Just moved here like 2 mos ago and trying to find our ways still (the stuff from above was from looong ago when I was down for a ballgame).
Try Riddles on the Loop
Live music (often jazz) and you won’t have to put up with many, if any, college students. For some reason, Wash U kids just don’t go there. My friends and I went there to sit around and drink good beer when we got tired of the college bar scene.
They serve locally grown food, too.
