it seems to me
that ryan has issues with calling for the ball. i mean, i think he might be calling for it but maybe he just isn’t loud enough or something. he seems to get into a lot of close calls with pop-ups.

The team has SOOOOOOOO many weaknesses, it hard to see any quick remedies. Even if. . .
. . . the impossible were to occur: Lud and Dunc begin to hit, KG of Memphis comes back and hits (baseballs), Lohse has a quick departure from the DL in full health, the team would still have gaping craters defensively, little speed, an anemic bench and an overworked, mediocre bullpen – which would be better than two-thirds of the rotation.
That’s the best-case scenario that I can fashion. Anyone care to create a better scenario?
