Who the hell is this Jerrod that is ranked 12th?

Either I need to eat more subs, or go buy a ring. I think I have found the secret to finally fulfilling my major league dreams.

Duncan, too!

Seriously, a little surprised to see Mike Cameron and J.J. Hardy near the top of the list.

surely the biggest surprise is

fred f’ing lewis?!?! At least Hardy and Cameron are 25-HR guys. Lewis is a real head-scratcher.

Because chicks dig the intentional base on balls.

True.

And I like Choo, but wouldn’t expect to see him on this list either.

This is pretty neato

According to HitTracker, Albert has the fastest homerun so far this year as measured by speed off the bat. It was his grand slam off of Oswalt. 119.6, a full mile and a half per hour faster than second, Michael Cuddyer’s 118.1.

somebody (maybe sky?) was asking why howard has such a high HR/FB

rate in a thread on BtB — some of it is citizen’s bank park, but this would explain it as well.

the truth can't hurt you, it's just like the dark/ it scares you witless, but in time you see things clear and stark -- macmanus
