Cards reportedly close to signing Wagner Mateo
As noted on mlbtraderumors.com, Baseball America is reporting that the Cards plan to sign 16-year-old Dominican outfielder Wagner Mateo when the international signing period begins on July 2. According to BA the deal would include a bonus of approx. $3M.
