Cardinal Hall of Famers To Throw Out AS Game First Pitch
According to Bruce Sutter in his interview today with the United Cardinal Bloggers, he stated that he and the other living Cardinal Hall of Famers are scheduled to throw out the first pitch at the All-Star Game.
While it's not huge news, it's not something that I've seen anywhere else.
You can listen to that interview here and you can listen to some of our past shows (as well as last week's interview of Ozzie Smith) at Blog Talk Radio as well.

Sweet!
That will be a sweet deal.
FYI — this is excellent FanShot material, btw.

STLToday now reporting
that President Obama will be throwing out the first pitch.
Multiple first pitches maybe?
Albert Pujols is ridiculous.

Yeah
When I was a kid (only 15 years ago) I remember there being only ONE ceremonial first pitch.
Now it seems that there are several first pitches for age groups, then a ceremonial first pitch from a contest or something, then a ceremonial first pitch from a business or group or something, then a ceremonial first pitch.

I have found that a good way to get my pre-game buzz going
is to drink half a beer for every first-pitch before a ball game.
