The only guy I really worry/think about is:

- Wonder if we shouldn’t have offered Lopez a contract? Hard to argue with the amount of players we have for MI spots, but he appears to have fixed whatever problems he had in Washington.

Yeah

He has magically gained the ability to sustain a .370 BABIP. He’s still a crappy player, who can’t field worth a shit, and who’s offensive skillset is limited. I’m happier with Schumaker/Ryan at second.

Still wouldnt you rather have his

.323/.380/.485/.865 versus Thurston’s .246/.353/.404/.757 and Barden’s .247/.309/.424/.732

Hindsight...

is always 20/20…remember, we were supposed to be stacked at 3B coming into the season. Glaus, Freese, Mather, Craig, Wallace…..we shouldn’t have even been considering signing Lopez as a “stopgap for Wallace”

this whole thing is pretty much hindsight

I thought that not offering Lopez a contract

was a mistake. He plays 2nd (which is what we needed at the beginning of the season) and played great with us last year.

Welcome to Baseball Heaven.

I cried like a baby the year he started the ASG.

Every year it’s just as painful, but it gets a little easier to hide the pain. Now if you’ll excuse me I’ve gotta go wail to my shrink about it.

I've stopped shedding tears...

…but only because I’ve dehydrated myself to the point where my body literally has no more tears to cry. After Mulder’s arm explosion in 2006, the tears started right up and didn’t stop until about 476 minutes ago.
