I’m not going to have nothing but good things to say about what’s going on, nor should anyone else. But at least I put some effort to convey that I actually enjoy watching the Cardinals play.

Have we had a walk off win yet this year?
Today seems like as good of a day for one as any.

although that assumes that we can make it through at least 1.5 more innings before the sky starts falling down.

What is going on...
with Lidge? Another blown save. He’s allowed a run in 11 appearances out of 21 this year. Injured?
That's true isn't it? Didn't he start to fall apart after Albert took him deep again this year?

FWIW--Soria's #s so far this year
8 appearances, 7 saves, 8.2 IP
2.08 ERA
8 H, 3R, 2ER
4 BB, 10 K
2 WP
Oh, but yeah, Soria has had great stuff for the Royals...
Sad really, they have some really good pitchers on this Royals team. Not a whole lot of hitting so far. They might get some if Jacobs starts hitting again.

Chuck Norris doesn't need a bat.
he just roundhouse kicks the ball out of the park.

Honestly...
The Cubs series was pretty bad offensively, but the Royals are one of the best Run Prevention teams in the league, and we put up 5 against them twice. I don’t think the Crew’s pitching will hold up as well as it did last series, and ours should definitely be better, especially with Carp and Wainwright pitching. I think we could/should take at least 2 from them.
Yeah, it stinks to waste the effort of Joel today.
Really the defense behind him needed to just be average, and I think he gets a win.
In the end, lost the game because a ball hit as well as you can hit it didn’t drop. I can kinda accept that.
Adios Amigos I must go on a quest for more wine.

Just watched this game now on MLBtv
I have to say that, for some reason, that was, for me, our most frustrating loss of the year. More great pitching and the bats just looked appalling. Once they took the bat out of Albert’s hands you just couldn’t see anyone else making decent contact. We really look a mediocre team at the moment, except for the pitching. Holding KC to 3 runs when Brian f’ing Bannister is starting (although I’ll admit he pitched rather well, especially against the lefties we loaded the lineup with) we’ve really got to win.
Please don’t get swept by the brewers again, boys…
Because chicks dig the intentional base on balls.
Duncan
clobbered that final pitch. It just landed in a glove.
Two bad defensive plays and fan interference ruined Piniero’s start. Baseball is cruel.
