MLBTR: Eric Chavez's career in jeopardy
Certainly a bummer for Eric Chavez, but this line piqued my curiousity:
A's GM Billy Beane figures to be on the lookout for third base prospects in trades.
Allen Craig (or Brett Wallace) anyone? Does Oakland have any hotshot pitching prospects?

wallace goes nowhere
freese/craig are more than available IMO, 25 yr olds struggling in AAA. they are worth something, but not top prospects
eric patterson- fills 2b need
eveland -mlb ready lefty, reclamation type for duncan
relievers jeff gray, jerry blevins, etc
i heard they had this russ springer guy. supposed to be good.
the truth can't hurt you, it's just like the dark/ it scares you witless, but in time you see things clear and stark -- macmanus
I would definitely be up for Craig/Freese for Eveland
if there was any chance they’d go for that.
I would ship probably Wallace for Trevor Cahill.
Because chicks dig the intentional base on balls.
me too

freese just had surgery
wouldn’t expect him moving anywhere based on that
