This is not to say . . .
that Ankiel is the master of making fair contact, either. But 21 K’s in 45 AB’s? Yikes. Not good at all.

Hadn't looked at the BB total at all . . .
but put all this together and it would seem to indicate he’s afraid to swing . . . or his bat is afraid of the ball (he’ll need to call up Pedro Cerrano for tips there, I guess).
Still wish him the best of luck . . . it’s gonna take patience if he expects to succeed.

Adam is 7-for-20 with 2 doubles, a triple, 3 RBI’s, 2 BB’s, and only 4 K’s….nicely done, Adam
