no way, he was running at full speed & he still coudn't catch up to it

it hit the warning track on at line drive. the only way it’s caught is if the CF was playing really deep to begin with. which in that case with that batter up no team would have had their CF that deep.

Thursty is just another in the long line

of middle infielders who had a hot streak when called up, but greadually sputtered out. Bo Hart, Joe McEwing, Brendan Ryan, and now Joe Thurston.

That said, he’s more akin to the Ryan-McEwing level of talent than Hart.

professionals get paid to play a game, if they get routed it’s their fault.

Now when Pujols managed to injure both the pitcher and the catcher in the same trip around the bases that one game in San Diego, that I felt bad about….

I’m not trying to flame this person, but unreasonable bitching and negativity on game threads takes a lot of the fun out of reading them IMHO. This kind of stuff goes on every night and I just find it bizarre—if people get this stressed out over a team winning around 70% of its games, what do they do when the team is under .500?
