I'm curious.

How many times does Rich Harden get to throw at Pujols before they throw him out of the game? Because I saw him throw at Pujols 3 times so it must be at least 4 times, right?

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky and I went horseback riding, but there weren't any horses around? Anyway, Brasky throws a saddle on my back and rides me around Wyoming for three days. Well, wouldn't ya know it, my stamina increased with each day, and I develop tremendous leg muscles. So anyway, Brasky decides to enter me into the Breeders Cup under the name Turkish Delight. And Im running in second place, and I'm running, and I break my ankle. So anyway, they're about to shoot me. Then someone from the crowd yells out, God bless him, Dont shoot him, he's a human.

The first two pitches were aimed at his hip. He missed the next two outside for the old UIBB, but connected on the first pitch of the next PA.

yeah

that’s 4 times cardinals have been hit this year, compared to only one cub. I hate the idea of “throwing at” guys, but I’d be very happy to see Rich Harden nailed a couple of times.

I am not a fan of head-hunting,

but I think you have to retaliate when they hit your guy. Especially when they make a point of it, like Harden did. A tooth for a tooth type of thing, I think. I know Tony believes in being smart about it and all, but yesterday, when we were getting shelled anyway, I think he should have at least hit Soriano again.

First time for the finger wagging last week, even though I hate to see him get hit in the head and that was probably just wildness from Welley, next time because they intentionally hit AP.

I too, can’t believe that they didn’t toss Harden…… but I guess there was no warning issued after Soriano was hit?
