Albert at Home in St Louis - NYT
A primer on why Pujols does not play in New York, and how to start luring him there.
Seems to have stolen all VEB's best links. (Taking everything that's not nailed down!)
eta: Billed elsewhere as "Cardinals Fear the Pujols Doomsday Clock".

I really don’t think Albert would enjoy being in New York. I think he likes flying under the radar a bit.

yeah
Especially with a family. But it’s a New York article … I suppose they think they have anybody’s price.

The article actually seemed fairly respectful
This has all been stated by the P-D already. We need to keep him happy. And if he’s happy, then we’re probably all happy. The grass seems pretty green.

yup
With A-Rod out of the spotlight and the ASG coming up, was just noting that East Coast media turning its beady eye on Albert is just beginning. All this stuff is known to us, it’s meant for a clueless New York audience.
