I don't get it
we tied up the game, so that’s great, but WHY THE FUCK DID HE PUT IN BRENDAN GODDAMN RYAN IN THE NINTH INNING WITH THE BASES LOADED INSTEAD OF LUDWICK
This is why LaRussa needs to not routinely empty his bench by the 6th inning.
TLR literally lost his damn mind after Carp got hurt

Dean Smith used to always say that if he did his job right, he’d have more timeouts at the end of the game than the other guy. Tony is applying that principle to players on his bench. Doug Melvin is out of players, thus, he has already failed at his job. If your opponent fails, you must win.

Instead of that sac bunt, there would have been a nice place to use Ryan Tony. Would have gained speed, lost nothing in defense and wouldn’t have had to give away an out.
Sigh

if he was gonna put him in today…he woulda put him in with the bases loaded
i think he’s clearly trying to protect the hitting streak

Yadi swings and hits a high fly ball... Endy Chavez goes back, to the track, to the wall... ITS A GUNNER!! Yadi gives St. Louis the lead in the top of the ninth!
While we are inbetween innings
whats the deal with august 15th? Are we gonna try to sit together or just meet up somewhere?
Make it through the bottom of the 10th...
and I’m GUARANTEEING victory. But making it through the bottom of the 10th isn’t going to be fun I’m afraid.
