Recognition from Halos Heaven
Just noticed this tonight: http://www.halosheaven.com/2009/4/11/830722/our-baseball-family?login=1239602678
Thought it was very nice of Halos Heaven to recognize everyone who stopped by to pay their respects in regard to the passing of Nick Adenhart.
Thanks to all who did, we as St. Louisans understand what it's like to lose someone. We must always do our best to represent St. Louis in the most positive of ways.. Makes me proud to be a Cardinals fan when we all come together :)

Thanks Again
The outpouring of condolences eased some of the pain carried by Angel fans at Halos Heaven, many of whom remarked about how classy so many fans were to take the time to post.
I didn't post over there
but I did sympathize with your fanbase. It wasn’t long ago that we lost Hancock to a sudden car accident as well. Two very different circumstances but both of them came the night of a game they pitched. Just tragic and I think we all know how hard it will be to recover but you will and he will forever be a part of Angels history.
"People call me El Hombre," Pujols said. "But only Stan is the Man."
man
that whole thing is just too sad to put into words, the way the whole thing went down. words can’t describe how messed up that is… too sad. my condolences, too young.

Thank you.
Cardinal Fans,
I just wanted to drop by and say thank you for all the nice posts and gestures over on Halos Heaven concerning the loss of Nick Adenhart. While we have lots of fun playing up our allegiances at one another’s expense, in truth we are together in the greater baseball community. We all share in this loss.
It was a class act to join us in supporting Nick’s family and teammates. Your thoughts and prayers were very welcome, and your actions deserve to be recognized. Well played. Thanks.
(P.S. – For those who may have noticed, I apologize that I was not able to post this here prior to today as I had managed to do elsewhere on SBNation. I needed to wait until my membership was approved. It was not an oversight, I assure you!)
We know this pain all too well
I’ll never forget where I was when I learned of Daryl Kile and Josh Kinney’s tragic deaths. Likewise, I’ll never forget about Nick Adenhart, either. When we see these players night in and night out; they seem invincible firing ninty-something fastballs and blasting 400-foot homers. That makes their passing all the more traumatic. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with Nick, his friends, his family, and his fans.
"I'm gonna throw the nastiest curveball I have ever thrown...if he hits it, I'll tip my cap, but if not we're going to the Series."
--Adam Wainwright on the final pitch of the 2006 NLCS
