but i counted 4 cards without delino - medwick (nj) musial (penn) gibson (neb) and pujols (mo). if we’re giving partial credit, roger maris (2 pennants in stl) gets the nod before delino.

I kinda read through the list fast and totally missed Medwick. But no excuse for dropping the ball on Maris.

…baseball was the national pastime. Not that I am not a huge Kruk fan, but when he is your best player (West Virginia I am looking at you) as a state yo uneed to pump some money into you baseball programs.

And, fyi. Chad Bentz is the representative of the Great State of Alaska. He was the Jim Abbott of the Great Northwest having a deformed right hand causing him to have to switch glove hands after delivering his pitch.
