With our 2b situation discussed ad nausem, what would you guys think about trading for Blake Dewitt? He has been officially displaced by Hudson at second and Blake at third. Admittedly not as good, but with rising depth in prospects like Hu, Abreu, and Rohan and major league regulars Blake, Furcal, and Hudson filling out the starting infield, Dewitt will be at best an infield super sub. 

A. What would it take to get him? Where do the Dodgers need depth? Would the Dodgers even consider offers?

B. Do we even want Dewitt? Does he project to be a above replacement player long term at second?

C. What do you think the actual interest from ownership is? If we are looking at other team's "second best" and "low hanging fruit", is Dewitt actually on the radar?

D. Are their better, alternate options? Retrend vets such as Grudz or Durham? 

In summary, I think Dewitt would be a good option for the cards. He is under team control for awhile, he is cheap, and if he can perform at a level more than or equal to replacement level, the former reasons would make him fairly valuable. Oh, and It doesnt hurt that he is from southern Missouri.....
