ATTENTION ALL LEAGUE MEMBERS
THE DRAFT TIME WILL BE MOVED UP ONE HOUR TO 11:00 ON SUNDAY, MARCH 1.
I realized I have to be somewhere at 2 and would not be be able to finish the draft.
Is that
11am Eastern? Central?
I’m all the way over in jolly england so it’ll be late afternoon for me. Unfortunately, I have volleyball matches that afternoon so it looks like I’ll be missing the draft now you’ve moved it forwards 01:15. I probably won’t be home until about 6:30 GMT (15 mins after the draft was scheduled to start) so moving it forwards over an hour means I’ll miss all but the last rounds I guess.
It’s still saying 6:15 GMT on mine…

I haven't changed it yet but I'm going to right now
Yes it is Central time. If there are more conflicts with that I can leave at 12:15 since I’d only miss the last few rounds.
I'll just leave the draft at 12:15
I should be able to make most of the draft if not all.
I guess if you're missing the last few rounds
it won’t matter too much. We’ll just be drafting middle relievers and scrub role players. I usually end up dumping half the players I draft in the final couple of rounds within the first month of the season anyhow…

Also...
I was wondering why you didn’t include any bench spots in this league?
No idea what other folks’ opinions on this are, but I’ve always played in yahoo leagues with at least 2 bench spots in the past, and it makes for more interesting tactical decisions and managing (e.g. whether to draft/select an extra pitcher, have a utility guy or allow you to cover for players who aren’t playing on certain days for whatever reason). The way it’s set up, I’m just a bit worried that we’ll end up drafting our teams and then nothing much will happen in the league – people will just drop by now and again to offer trades or make a free agent swap.
I realise the argument against this is the finite group of players (with 16 teams we’ll have to draft some fairly lowly players) but I think this makes it more interesting and maybe adds a bit more skill to the game.
Just my 0.02 anyway, thoughts?
