An unbelievable baseball video game observation

Guys,

I know that there are some of you out there like me. You don't have a playstation 3 (only an xbox 360), and so you only have one choice for a baseball video game for this year. Well I was looking at some screen shots for the new MLB 2K9 game this morning and I noticed something so incredibly odd, yet hysterically funny, that I just had to share.

Take a look at this screen and tell me if you notice what I did.

This is a screen capture of the end of the year awards for 2009 (if you had either played or simulated the entire season). As you can see, Jeff Suppan has been given the gold glove for N.L. pitchers. However, take a look at the name on the bottom of the list and tell me if you can believe your eyes. I am most likely going to get this game (as it is the only choice I have and I don't want to buy "The Show" for ps2), but I sincerely hope that they shoot (and or horsewhip) whoever is in charge of ranking the players attributes.

if you click on the number 3 at the bottom....

it will go the third set of screens and it is 2nd from the bottom on the right

(i tried to just post the screen shot as an image and I couldn’t figure out how. If somebody could help me I would really appreciate it)

Hey FBIAD, I meant to ask this the other day but got distracted or something.

How long have you been a member over at OS? I’ve been over there since like ‘95 or something and used to check out a bunch of the forums but now I just go there for the Entertainment & Technology forum, which I know is random and odd but I get my Cardinals stuff here and my Rams stuff at TST so there’s not as much of a reason to go to the other forums as much. Plus, I haven’t bought a sports video game in years too.

But, I do like their content and screen shots and reviews and stuff.

I am actually not a member

I just lurk over there…. I usually lurk at a website until I see something written that I feel that I have to respond to, or there is something that I absolutely have to share. If memory serves me right, I joined this site because I would follow the games on mlb.com here at work and read the game feed simultaneously and I wanted to comment and ask questions.

I usually at least glance at the Cards talk forum, but most people (that I gather) there are literally insane. This is a much more informed and intelligent forum to discuss the Cards.
