I don't have time to attempt all 50 at the moment
But I will say that I think I know most of these. I’m not sure what that says about me.

I have no idea what i’m supposed to do w/ these. Guess the origin of the picture? Guess to whom they belong? I’m lost….
defy, cards, defy. hey logic --- you suck.
guess which avatar picture belongs to which poster
e.g. no.23 is our very own robot.

I think I can get about 35 or so.
maybe only about 30, actually. There’s at least 7 or 8 that I just don’t recognise at all. Numbers 9, 10, 26, 27, 30, 33, 37 and 39 just don’t ring too many bells, and there’s probably at least another 10 that I recognise and can’t quite put a name to. Basically, I blame it on all the f’ing Mattys (although MattyfromMo and Mattybobo I got).
Anyway, awesome. Rec’d.

I think it's just some generic wallpaper of red velvet-y stuff
On pretty much every other site out there, I wear old-school Fredbird. But spants (#41) got to that one first, so I’ve just left this boring old thing up for as long as I can remember.
Maybe you need to add a household pet in a fetching toupe?

Which is part of the reason I don’t have an avatar.

I recognize iconic, long-term icons
Like tom, yours, spants, bgh, lboros, flim, azru, flim, and moocow. But most of these I wouldn’t have gotten. I’m just not as avatar-centric as some people here — which is probably why my avatar blows.
