I have a few things to say
I love Colby.
I miss Chris Perez.
I hope Joey Bombs has a better year.
It is great living in Springfield where you get to see the Future of Cardinal Baseball.
Aww. That song was Chris Duncan's walk-up music this year. : (

That is, the "Come Alive" song--I think it's called Let It Rock

It was?
I never saw him play last year. I don’t think. I love that song. It was our basketball team’s song last year and now it plays before the game during the video I’m in.
Who needs affection when you can have blind hatred?
It definitely was, I remember remarking to my SO that he was using a car commercial again
because the year before that he used that awful Lifehouse song, about 40 seconds in (also used in a car commercial).
Cardinals Diaspora re-posted a story from last Thanksgiving on how they imagine Chris Duncan conducts himself in his daily life, and it’s fucking hilarious. I almost hope he’s really like that. I might be disappointed if he weren’t.
His music choices support that theory. Only Chris Duncan could get away with being that much of a douche and still be lovable. I miss that big old lug.
Also, on a sort of related note, Khalil Greene used the Ting Tings Shut Up and Let me Go (that links to the ipod commercial version) for the first month or so—a surprising choice, imo. My SO said jokingly that Khalil wanted to use Take Me Out but the front office told him it was too dated and made him use that song instead. He changed songs a lot this year and I don’t know what the rest of them were.
