Waino: Why Carp should win Cy Young
I'm not sure if this was already posted, but I find it really entertaining to see Wainwright write about why Carp should win, and vice versa: http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/sports/stories.nsf/cardinals/story/85F904FD5315DC588625766E00197852?OpenDocument

Carp's fastball doesn't get 2 feet of movement, maybe 15 inches
Good article though, thanks for posting.
I love Adam Wainwright even more now.
This moment in actual awesome quotes brought to you by Adam Wainwright:
Plus, he hit a grand slam. C’mon.
Albert Pujols does not have "down" years. He has "~6 WAR" years.
waino presents a compelling case
it’s also my case, but of course we are both biased, and rightfully so.
i wonder if, in a tiebreaker sort of way, had carp popped ten dingers voters would sway his way over lincecum. straightening waino out alone was worth more than ten dingers, and then there’s all the rest, including luggage. personally, i hope he gets it.
my fave quote: “He’s the most mentally tough pitcher I’ve ever seen, been around, or even read about.” That’s pretty high praise from a guy who shared a dugout this year with a pitcher he grew up idolizing.
"Some days I feel like the hypotenuse in a love triangle; others as if my lucky number is pi."
