Another LF option
This may have been brought up already, but if not, here it is. Don't know what KC would want or expect in return, though.

Far better than Bay
When I went to KC, we got first-row seats by the left field foul pole and some Cards fans, in their souther drawls were heckling DeJesus by calling him “De Jesus” with the English pronunciation of the Son of God.

Maybe they were Big Lebowski fans.
Now with extra feisty!

agreed
what would it take to bring him in? Ive always loved this guy and hes way underrated…would love to see him on our side. He would provide great depth and hes a proven commodity. Kansas City struggled scoring runs last year so maybe a guy like allen craig packaged with someone else could get it done. I love Craig but it seems like hes wasting away in our system he should get a shot even if its not in STL.

I agree with solanus below
also, it doesn’t make a lot of sense for us to deal Craig as he’d make a useful right-handed option to take some ABs vs tough lefties away from DeJesus.

Logjam
I think the idea of sending Craig to them to acquire DeJesus would be stupid for the Royals. They already have quite a few defensively challenged players they have to shuffle into the LF-1B-DH mix. It probably wouldn’t be smart to throw another similar player into the scrum.
But if they want to do a one-for-one (maybe a little more) trade, I’m all for it.
