Thanks for the great season
It was a tough loss tonight, but it was thanks to people like you helping us forget the loss. Honestly, I don't feel so bad about it anymore. Talking about the good times has helped erase the bad.
This was my first year here. If it wasn't for Matt Leach's blog, chances are I wouldn't be here today. I used to read his blog and decided to check this place out one day. I was instantly hooked, and joined in January. I didn't know what I was in for, but looking back, I'm glad I made the jump from Leach's blog to here. Since I joined, I've been on here almost every night (since the start of Spring Training, anyway) and on Leach's blog only a few times. This is a great place, and I'm glad to see so many supportive people like you guys here in one place. I'm going to come back next year, and hopefully I leave the 2009 Zoom Zoom (as in, well, the one who accidentally caused things to happen) behind. It's been an absolute blast. I feel like I'm home when I visit here, I really do. Thanks to the VEB community and the mods for making this one hell of a place.
Feel free to tell your feel-good stories about the Cards from this season, how you got here, or whatever you feel like posting.
Viva El Birdos! Now and forever!
