I won't be dissapointed if any of them win it.
Carps been the best pitcher of the bunch, but he hasn’t had the best season. Lincecum has had the best season, but not for the best team (which shouldn’t matter), so I think Wainwright will win it. If he does, it’s not undeserved or anything (he’s had a hell of a fucking year), Timmy has just been better.

Agreed.
I’m pretty happy that it’s not going to come down to a “oh, this guy had 20 wins so I guess we’ll give it to him” type of decision. Three very deserving, quite venerable choices. It’s a shame history won’t necessarily recall whoever doesn’t go home with the hardware – which I’d feel the most for Carp, whose comeback this season has been legendary. What a gamer.

It reminds me of my high school sweetheart joining me at an Opening Day. I had no idea it was her first ballgame until she screeched “do the baseballs just go into the seats?” Of course I laughed. Then when another foul went into the stands, she exclaimed “this is crazy!” as if I had dragged her to a cult sacrifice ritual.

I always enjoyed writing papers
I just started off writing what ever was on my head regardless if it mattered or not. Just to get me started writing at all. My first drafts tend to be rather poorly written but rather creative. Than just go back and edit them. I would just write. I could write about anything and just type and type and type away

This time it didn’t take long because I liked the book I was writing on and once I figured out my topic and thought of the title it was really easy.

"I remember once talking to one guy on the Cardinals and asking him what Pujols was like as a teammate. He said something that’s really special, if you think about it. Very important question
I got my “Respect the Redbird Stache” shirt the other day in the mail. I wore it for the 1st time today. I was very cautious of it at first, hoping that the Cards wouldn’t go in a funk like they did when they got them. Turns out we win 13-0 on the day I wear it. Do I wear it everyday now? this just in: CHRIS CARPENTER CALLED SHOT
Carpenter did what he had been promising his teammates he would do the past couple of days: He hit a home run to left field.
Asked if anybody believed Carpenter’s proclamation, second baseman Skip Schumaker said, “Not too many people. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life.”
After passing first base, Carpenter pumped his fist into the air and then asked when he got back to the dugout if that was permissible under baseball code.
The entire bench was laughing. Albert Pujols, who had talked himself into the lineup despite cold and flu symptoms because he wanted to play for Carpenter, smiled and said, “If I would have dreamed he was going to do that, I would have taken (the day) off.”

I don't remember that
We just got our ass kicked by the Indians. People were talking about how we should start trading players away for prospects. So it had to be before the DeRosa trade. I lost it cause we had almost a 50% chance of making the playoffs at that point and they said it was pointless to trade for someone. I just remember calling people quitters and mother fuckers that day.
