One thing that impressed me about that interview

was how well-spoken Luhnow is. The whole thing was smooth, interesting, animated and informative. It was well worth listening to.

However, in fairness, Wochomurka threw him a bunch of softballs. There was nothing about the guys who didn’t make the cut, nothing about the flameouts who disappeared from the list, changes in draft philosophy, etc. Luhnow, to his credit, took the one semi-hardball straight on, and had thoughtful things to say about the greater depth in C+ prospects. I’d love to have seen more challenging Qs, but Wochomurka had his own stake in not undercutting his employer’s product…
