MLB Front Office Manager
Anybody seen this new game coming later this month in January? Seems like we all can have the chance to be a GM and see if we have the "right stuff". Look out MO, here we come.
I have not mastered the short link issue, but here is my try at it.
Thoughts?
I'm hoping several of us can get a xbox360 live league going and see how we do.
I'm not a sabermetric guy by any means, so this game seems like it can help me understand a lot of the statistics thrown around here.

I'll rent it
though I’m far too busy with my superstar Risky Biscuit in my MLB the Show Road to the Show mode to participate regularly. The Biscuit needs to bake, son.

i'm all over this game
i’ve been playing the hell out of mlb the show’s franchise mode for three years now, and this game sounds pretty sweet.
i saw your youtubes video in which you mentioned risky biscuit. pretty sweet. i’ve never gotten too far into road to the show mode because franchise mode consumes so much of my time.

I'd do it on PSN (for those ps3 owners out there)
if people wanted to get a league together, but otherwise, I really have no motivation to buy the game. It basically seems to me like a mix between the owner mode of any baseball game and fantasy, which I get my fix of anyway. As of now, MLB: The Show is all the baseball I’ll ever need.

I always prefer the 360
due to achievements. Yeah, trophies are cool and all, but they comprise maybe 3% of the PS3 library, which is too bad.

that’s not true … plenty of games have trophies now.
and I will have this on PSN, in case there is a league.

trophies are now mandatory, aren't they?
I thinkg I read that somewhere . . . and that seems to be what I’ve noticed from the new game, so I’m assuming it will have trophies. I like PSN because I don’t play enough online gaming to justify $50 a year.

I heard on X-Play that they’re going to be required going forward.

I don't own any consoles
But Baseball Mogul is still satisfying enough. I don’t know if any of you guys on here play it, but Cole Rohrbough is apparently the greatest pitcher ever. He routinely puts up 12/1 k/bb ratios, and 12-13 k/9.

Just got 2006
Horribly addicted

The Cards are so frustrating in 08
Ankiel never hits above .230 and Piniero sucks even more than in real life.

it's old enough that I'm sure you coudl run it on an emulator
or on pocketpc if you still have a G4 or G5
They say that it's never too late, but you don't get any younger...

I have been thinking of downloading that
Am I going to have any problems with it on my getting close to ancient laptop?

I doubt
that you’ll have any problems whatsoever. My music collection constantly cripples my memory, and I’m consistently left with nowhere more than 10-5 gbs. Still, It always runs pretty smoothly for me.
I only have 2008, but if you decide you want to try it out/are down with pirates, I could up it for you.

and I have to say, I like it
I like the GM stuff, I only wish the real Marlins would have traded Hanley for Glaus and Mulder.
