tickets 2009 all-star game

PrintI've been reading VEB for a while now. Love the site. I checked the mlb site, but can't figure out when 2009 all-star game tickets go on sale. Does anyone here have more up to date info on when the tickets may go on sale? Thanks, third generation (at least) redbirds fan. Sorry, I realize this post should be in a different section, or maybe an entirely different site. First time posting anything, but appreciate the in depth analysis offered by LB and all the regulars.

Tickets for the 2009 All-Star Game and related All-Star Events (including the DHL All-Star FanFest, Taco Bell All-Star Sunday, the Gatorade All-Star Workout Day and State Farm Home Run Derby) are controlled by Major League Baseball. Major League Baseball will announce all policies related to ticket sales at a future date.

If it is like Pittsburgh
the tickets will go on sale to those full season ticket holders that are lucky enough to win a lottery. From there, the rest will go to corporate sponsorships, etc. What is left (probably 35% of the tickets) go on sale to the general public.

I did the same for the derby at Comiskey in 03
It wasn’t worth the effort trying, I just bought tickets though an agency.

it will be a joke, at least it has been for years in my book.
Now the Futures Game, I have to find a way to get tickets to that
