Why are we all ready to trade Ludwick

Has there been something that anyone has noticed that has suggested that his performance is an aberration as opposed to a breakout?

I guess people just don’t realize how crucial Luddy has been to our success this season. He’s been only slightly less important than Pujols. Would we trade Pujols for a shortstop?

by mojowo11 on Aug 23, 2008 7:55 PM EDT up reply actions

Here's wjy this team won't go to the postseason

I , along with everyone else are shocked that the Cards made as good of a showing as they have this season. I was picking them 4th or 5th. But teams who play in October find a way to win, we seem to always find a way to lose.

by BobaSchrute on Aug 23, 2008 7:54 PM EDT reply actions

if we beat the brewers in 3 games

we’ll be in the playoffs. I think we are very much still in this.

Brewers 3 Pirates 0 in the 4th.

Of course we can’t seem to take care of the worst teams..so it’s hard to complain about the Brewers schedule.

by KYCards on Aug 23, 2008 8:19 PM EDT reply actions

Brewers are cheating

Apparently in Miller Park opposing teams homeruns count for outs
———
- N. Morgan ground rule double to left
- J. Wilson grounded out to second, N. Morgan to third
- B. Moss grounded out to first, N. Morgan scored
- A. LaRoche homered to deep center
- End of Inning (2 Runs, 2 Hits, 0 Errors)
