I really doubt he is done.
The guy is quite literally a world-class athlete. He’s still pretty young and very mentally determined. I think you might see him pitch again, though probably not for the Cardinals. I wouldn’t count him out. He’s doing rigorous stretching, etc., so he is serious about giving it a go.
