Hate to say a must win game

He was DL’d with a strained tendon in his finger. It’s healed. He’s in good shape. Why would you expect he’ll get hurt from pitching?

Yes strongest MF in St. Louis but when you have not pitched for what 8-12 weeks there is a certain amount of time to build up to being game ready. Waino is not there. See Carpenter! But lets throw our season down the drain and pitch him 9 like all you all guys want.

Pitching shape and staying in shape are two different beasts. He should be on a 70 pitch limit. I’m just pointing out the fact yes we need a tandem friday night. Do you want the bullpen you guys keep bashing to pitch? You can’t have it both ways.

the way i took it
