in reading the scoreboard. While I am always paying more attention to the Cards game, I’ll check out any team that is playing against one of our playoff competitors. FWIW Cubbies have 70% of their remaining games against teams playing over .500. We and the Brewers have 55% and 52%. The tough schedule could tighten the race.

I don’t get that feeling of trepidation when Perez is in there…nor do I get the feeling that I could hit one out of the park off him (like I do with Izzy or Franklin). It’s nice for a change.

There was a story on him last night
that broke down his body measurements. Basically, if there is something genetically that a person could have that is special (feet, knees, legs, heart, arms, etc.) that would give you an advantage….he has every single one of ’em.
