according to the scoring on that line drive,
Aaron now has a 1.000 fielding percentage as a right fielder.

For those optimistic few out there...
I know it is an extremely small sample size, and it is probably just a hot streak…but since Duncan bottomed out at .228/.328/.339 during last week’s Detroit series, he’s been on fire. I said during the KC series that I thought his ABs started looking a little different…a little more focused and meaningful…in the 6 games since the DET series, he has this line:
.368/.455/.737 (OPS 1.192) He has 1 doubnle, 2 homers, 6 rbi, and 3 walks in 22 PAs.
Like I said…VERY SMALL sample size, probably a hot streak, but I can hope like hell it’s a turning of the tide for him.

Man, this AL guy is the TV announcer? Wow, Terrible. I have had radio for years. Love Shannon, Rooney. What is the deal? Boring, lazy, and does he even like the Cards? We don’t need Holliday (Lud, Albert, Ank = 49 homers). we need pitching! (C.C.) Wellemeyer is done, and Mulder won’t make it back, period. Lets end this walk-off style! 300!

cable company garbage?
i’m not familier…explain.
by stlcardinalsfang on Jul 3, 2008 12:34 AM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
It is vastly inferior to satellite.
Satellite occasionally goes out in storms, whereas Cable routinely goes out for no reason at all. Satellite provides better packages for a more reasonable price. Cable is garbage.

My cable doesn't go out for no reason at all
my cable rarely goes out. Extra Innings, yes, but that has little to do with the actual cable company and more to do with the fact that FSN Midwest for some reason is broadcast out of Houston.

Good game, better win
considering they had to overcome another subpar performance from the men on the hill, seems like they really play with fire about 9 out 10 games, but this team just keeps pushing! Also, did anyone notice how the Cardinal killer Endy Chavez looked in his glove when he came down from Glaus’ homer…he couldnt believe it wasnt in the leather. If Endy effin Chavez played every day like he does against the Birds, he would be an all-star. BLOOP YOU, pond scum!

LOL I listen to the Reds games on the radio at times
when I come home from work and Marty & Thom Brennaman are ready for Dusty to go…they don’t seem to be big fans of his “Dugout Dice.”

but I wouldn’t wish Dusty Baker on Reds fans. They deserve better. The Cubs, on the other hand, were a perfect match :-)

just as i hit post on this comment regarding Troy’s home run:

my internet died. for the second time today. thanks a lot time warner. oh well, at least the Cards won. that’s some serious clutchness from Troy. 2 outs, bottom 9, tie game. it doesn’t get any better than that.

Just heard the Joe Buck thing about his lack of enjoyment in baseball now
That it’s too slow and he would rather watch some dance show. Sorry but it kind of irks me that he would say this in public. I always though highly of Joe and was hoping he would follow his father’s legacy and maybe finish his career with the Cards. But not now. If Joe doesnt like calling the games anymore then maybe he should just let someone else call the games on Fox that actually gives a damn.
