Memphis gave up 7 runs in the ninth to blow their lead. perez gave up 5 of them, 2 HR yielded in one inning. it’s like a plague of suck-itis that is spreading and getting worse and worse.

I think the floating of the news in this AM’s P-D regarding Wagonmaker closing again is because the trade talks for Funetes are getting serious. I don’t think A.D.A.M. will close. But I think it’s an attempt to gain leverage in the talks.

Back when you carried 9-10 pitchers. Actually, the Reds did it for a couple years recently (LaRue, Ross, Valentin).

That said, the Cubs do deserve my pity, but never my support.

Garcia does well in pen so he starts, does ok, then they demote him
