What's the point of a rally?
We’ll just give it up the next half inning. We had our chance versus the bottom of their order and Franklin blew it again. This game is over, we lose.

C'mon you Redbirds, lets prove em' wrong, again!
Anyone remember the other day when TLR
maintained the offense, not the bullpen, was the problem. Well, eight friggin runs ought to win a game!

I havent seen the game, save the 1st inning, but 8 runs should be enough to win.

no help coming from AAA
Memphis gave up 7 runs in the ninth to blow their lead. perez gave up 5 of them, 2 HR yielded in one inning. it’s like a plague of suck-itis that is spreading and getting worse and worse.

Currently in first place, Franklin, 2nd place, Villone. I say ging up the winnign un in extra innigs i worse than giving up the tying run in teh ninth. But I’m open to he groups opinion.

I think the floating of the news in this AM’s P-D regarding Wagonmaker closing again is because the trade talks for Funetes are getting serious. I don’t think A.D.A.M. will close. But I think it’s an attempt to gain leverage in the talks.

you really can't
screw this bullpen up any worse than this. 2 guys are good and they neither one ever close. it’s asinine.
We know we still have
about 9 pitchers left in our bullpen. We’ll have to pinch-hit w/ Fredbird but we’ve got pitchers in the pen!
No, TLR went way too long with Izzy

I'm going to go try to find a puppy and kick it. - Brad Thompson AND THAT'S A WINNER!
He was out

Why does the thought of Pujols batting next half inning NOT inspire much confidence

Because there is no way he bats in the 12 with Jiminez pitching the 11th

I'm amazed
at how patient they’ve been w/ Kelvin Jimenez. I’m not whining about Anthony Reyes, but the difference is astounding to me.
it makes no sense
but their approach to young pitchers never really has. Great for journeymen types. hit or miss w/ young guys
but Jimenez
is only a couple years older than Reyes. It’s not like he’s Rick Honeycutt. I just don’t get it.
What is it, like 12-13 balls in a row now?
They swung at a couple, but he has not thrown a strike since the first batter.
is Miles ready
‘cuz KJ is done

Hm...
bullpen blows the game with 4 straight walks? We haven’t done THAt one yet…
If Jimenez manages to get this out
it’ll have been a good move letting that many runners get on
it forces wagner out of the game unless they double switched earlier
boo cubs, hooray beer
thats tlr

What is the status, my gameday is still out
40th anniversary of Gibson's 1.12 ERA, Think he could pitch in the bullpen now?
Can't believe Manuel is PH for Wagner

Ya gotta love this Jimenez
Our new closer! ha ha
he was the closer at memphis for a while
If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs, perhaps you haven't grasped the situation!
I thought it was whoever got the save when we win.

Gameday finally back!
40th anniversary of Gibson's 1.12 ERA, Think he could pitch in the bullpen now?
just what I was thinking
and I hope there are two on ahead of him… I’d feel a lot safer with a three-run lead!

Do you ever wonder if Albert's slump
affects the attitude of the whole team?
But then, he’s been struggling since before this current disastrous run.

It is a good point, though.
This team lives and dies with Albert, and perhaps he does the same. Team sucks, so Albert begins to suck.
Then he can be our new closer!

Jiminez is bad so they keep him
Parisi was good in the pen so they have him start, sucks then demote him
Garcia does well in pen so he starts, does ok, then they demote him
Boggs has been up and down all down of late so lets keep him..
I can't believe i gave up a homerun to that punch and judy hitter-major league 2
The Parisi one annoys me the most.
That kid was decent in the pen and looked comfortable. Started him and ruined him.
im going to get me a franklin
what kind…...both of course

Just got back from the bar
