don't get too down on Studwick

he has been streaky this year, every time his avg gets down near .300 he goes on a tear and gets it back up near .350. I sense a hot streak coming. 4 HRs starting in houston

Huh?

If we can get 3 more outs

which come back is better 8 runs in the 9th vs Cincy or this one with Memphis killing the ball all night.

by Hardcore Legend on Jun 5, 2008 10:11 PM EDT reply actions

8 run 9th for me easy

I liked game 7 against the mets better too.

We had a lot more innings to do it,

but the big comeback against the Cubs at Wrigley when Pujols hit three HR after Morris melted down early will always have a special place in my heart.

I think we were down 9-0 in that one…?

by BTown Birds fan on Jun 5, 2008 10:14 PM EDT up reply actions

Well, let's see

Worrell: First career AB, a 3R HR
Parisi: First career hit, a 2R 2B
Mather: First career HR on the 11th pitch in the 10th inning.

The Cincy game, IIRC, saw Edmonds and Mabry go deep in the same inning, but I don’t remember anything else spectacular (besides the ninth inning, that is)

by Phyrkrakr on Jun 5, 2008 10:15 PM EDT up reply actions

this one - hands down
