Game 60 Rain Delay thread
So, we're in a rain delay. Let's hope they get this in, and the bats stay alive. I'd hate to see a steal of home not count. 5-0 Cardinals, top of fifth, two on for the cards, no out

It depends on how we do in the makeup game
We lost the makeup with COL. I don’t even know if they’d make this one up unless it’s needed to determine a tie or something like that, or if we get a DH tomorrow or Thursday.

We had a victory vs Colorado
washed away and a loss vs Pittsburgh saved as the rain refused to all out fall down.

Didn't realize you were thinking of the PIT game
I’ll be as pissed as the next guy, but if they postpone this one and we make it up and win, then it’s all the same, save the stats.

Remember that game against the Mets last year
when it got rained out in the 6th or 7th and we were only one down. SUCKED!

If they come back from this one
And it looks iffy, Miles needs to ground into a triple play, then put in Perez to slam the door shut

Really?
Have they said something?
"Jimmy told me, 'If you keep it right there at two runs and no more, we'll win this game,'" Wainwright said. "'Me and Albert will get the job done."

50% chance of thunderstorms tomorrow night
since this is our only series at Washington I’m hoping they might be pressed to get this one in.

Looking at the radar again
It looks like there’s going to be a small window (maybe 10 to 15 minutes), then another period of showers, then a big window. I don’t know if they’ll wait it out though.

10 to 15 minutes to get the field ready to play.

but there’s an article up about Clement’s rehab start. Says his velocity sat 86-88. Good enough for his first time in a game.

each of the last two years I’ve been to a game in DC, our fans were more numerous than the Nats’ fans. We’re a good draw.
