Seems like it to me, too

For a guy who throws 95-97 mph, he doesn’t seem to have a put away pitch.

Perez has completely lost the ability to strike people out

he is unable to fool major league hitters

yeah, he's only struck out 17 people

in 18.1 innings of work in the big leagues…

He's been in the majors for like a month or two

Not nearly enough time to establish ability to “lose”

And he's a young player

he’s going to go through growing pains. This is why putting him in at closer right off of the bat was a bad idea

so much for tony's comments

that we don’t have a bullpen problem, just an offense problem. problem is we developing an offensive bullpen

by sportsman on Jun 29, 2008 4:13 PM EDT   0 recs

did he ever say we don't have a BP problem?

Or just that we have an offense problem as well? He’s not dumb enough not to realize that there is a very real problem with our bullpen

or else he wants more than one inning out of Mulder

and I was about to make an irrelevant argument about the pitchers spot coming up. Stupid AL

by Valatan on Jun 29, 2008 4:17 PM EDT to parent up   0 recs

Agreed, stupid AL

My point is just that if Izzy is pseudo hands off with the knee, KMac should be after pitching 2 innings last night and if Mulder isn’t going to be used…we are just as short in the pen as we were 2 days ago.

I don't know -- we had an izzy problem, and a flores problem.

Kmac, perez, franklin and springer (since his DL stint) have generally gotten it done, with some exceptions.

three hits, no runs, 8 Ks, zero walks over nine. Thank you, Slowey.

Albert's HR

Would have gone into the construction beyond the bullpen minus the crosswind. His ball in the 8th or 9th would have left the field, too…
