I think i get all the other references, but why is Barton refered to as “Crabman”?

I suppose there are too few My Name IS Earl fans running around on here
or too many, depending on how you look at it. Barton (especially his Gameday picture) looks like Darnell “Crabman” Turner off of MNIE.

I love the Puppy Kicker nickname,
but how exactly did that come about. Sorry I guess I didn’t get the memo, but at least I always use the new cover sheets on my TPS reports.
