this game would not be that bad if we had closed out the game last night.

he only had 10 through August of 2006.
This is not somebody who’s just having a few rough days.
I'm sure he'll still have his moments
but he just can’t go out there like 4 or 5 times a week and seal the deal

We've been caught 8 times, successful 11
We’re costing ourselves runs with most attempts.
With no evidence to the contrary, Colby Rasmus is clutch
but anecdotally
it seems like most of those were failed hit and runs…
I’d like to see izturis, ryan, and barton run, at least.

I don't know about you guys
But I’m really liking what I’m seeing from Parisi overall in his two appearances. He’s not dominating, but overly effective (walk withstanding). Hasn’t pitched his way back to Memphis for me.

I’m a little irked by the Cards’ power outage in general. Izzy, Glaus and the other sore points with the ‘08 teams have not bothered me so much. But the lack of pop in this lineup is admittedly starting to get to me.

The night cap will tell us how much it cost us
