Wow
Ludwick is a real nice defensive OF.
Think that was the biggest surprise about him last season. When he was called up, I was expecting all-stick, no glove.
he did start out as a CF
the hip surgery and the broken leg slowed him down a bit, but he’s a pretty good defender. Not as good as I thought he was at first, but better than encarnacion was, and enc was our former emergency CF-type.
And I awoke in California, far far from Spancilhill...

These games happen
let’s see whether or not the hitters give up. This team has more fight in it than any cardinal team I’ve seen in a while.

Then blame Pujols
not Izzy. Pujols left 8 men on base and dropped a pop-up that would have this inning over already.

Still loving the Cards
but Izzy just doesn’t have it anymore. Maybe hate is a strong word, but I am not pleased with him.

If
he is hurt, he had pretty friggin speak up because he is killing this team right now.

Did LaRue just not get the memo about not asking for cutters?

against the cubs, he went fastball and curve
and was actually effective

I was honestly going to post..........
when Al and Dan were talking about Gagne and all his blown saves when the score was 3-0 in the 6th or 7th inning. Talk about your all time hex. Now I wish I would have said something.
that "strike" almos hit him!

Izzy is perhaps...
trying to change the MLB rule to having a 5 run lead instead of a 3 run lead to earn a save maybe?
I saw the little poll FSMW had up last night about what NL Central closer would you trust or prefer to save you a game, and I honestly voted Matt Capps, Cordero, Izzy, Wood, Gagne
