Take a look at Skip’s numbers compared to Fukudome

Fukudome – 348 average, 448 on base pct, 23 runs, 1 HR, 12 RBI, 3 SB

Now, I’m not saying Skip is as good of a ball player as Fukudome, but with how much they’ve been talking about Fukudome…..why not talk about Skip a little, eh?

You mean, in the history of interleague?

We got swept by the White Sox in ‘06, the blowout-blowout-one-hitter series. And back in the early days it was Central Division every year.

As for the Yankees, Clemens got his 3000th K against us, and I think I recall a big Scott Seabol HR against them one year.

Iz 2 in this series did better even at little things…like when he made it to third and then scored to tie it at 2…and got a hit that inning two..ya i know he made an error but lets look at positive.

bottom of the order has been hitting at times…things to build on i think

wish like i said abotu reyes last yr that welly could go a bit deeper but he tends to labor at times thus keeping him at 5

"its still may"

Yes, they are but thirty-two games into the season, and despite the 20-12 start, and being in 1st place(for now), tempered enthusiasm/angst and the like should be the rule of the day, IMO. This team has a lot of holes in it, and some can, and will be, plugged; while others may take a hell of a lot of spackle just to make them serviceable.
As that great philosopher, Lee “Not So Fast My Friend” Corso would say, it’s a marathon, not a sprint.

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.
