is that Fox did a side-by-side shot of Fukudome and Kaz Matsui yesterday to show how they were alike and not Ichiro…even quoted Ichiro’s first batting coach in Seattle as saying that F-dome and Ichiro were not alike. Take a look at Skip’s numbers compared to Fukudome
Schumaker – 302 average, 382 on base pct, 24 runs, 2 HR, 10 RBI, 3 SB
Fukudome – 348 average, 448 on base pct, 23 runs, 1 HR, 12 RBI, 3 SB
Now, I’m not saying Skip is as good of a ball player as Fukudome, but with how much they’ve been talking about Fukudome…..why not talk about Skip a little, eh?
