The chinaman is not the issue here, Dude

I’m talking about drawing a line across the sand and saying across this line, YOU DO NOT…..also, Dude, chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please.

Glaus hit the crap out of it, but not far enough

Game Over.

Hard to feel too bad about this one. It’s not like we stranded a million runners. Our bullpen didn’t blow it. Just one bad pitch cost us the game.

LOUD OUTS

has there ever been a closer that has survived hitting the meaty part of the bat more than Trevor Hoffman?

if Troy had any lift on that ball what so ever

and wasn’t hitting in petco, it would have been a home run.

i really think his mechanics are off, or he’s hurt. because he just can’t drive the ball out of the park any more.

or he's just unlucky

that might have tied the game in St. Louis…..

His OPS

is 1.195 over the past ten coming into this game, how about we give Petco a little credit instead of hang the lack of power flag on him. He’s waking up, we’ll get there

good crap i dont know what happened there

lets try again.

i said, if he wasn’t at petco that could have tied the game.

he’s a doubles machine, there’s no doubt about it. but he needs to start turning those doubles into home runs soon.

more annoyed that we didn’t score at all off their bullpen for 4 innings than I am that we lost….

2 runs o support sucks,

but keeping Joel in way too long sucks as well

I can't believe i gave up a homerun to that punch and judy hitter-major league 2

At least it was a starting pitcher and one pitch

not a bullpen.

Will Mo allow another terrible season by Kennedy?

Or will he cut his losses and DFA the chump come ASB when Kennedy is hovering around .250 with no power at all to go with it.

Don't blame Mo

LaRussa could play Ryan at 2B and make Kennedy irrelevant. He choses not to.

i'm not blaming Mo, hell, he didn't even sign that piece of garbage

I’m just hoping he’ll use his better judgement and get rid of the crappy second baseman instead of sticking with him just because we gave him guaranteed money. Cut your losses at this point, the guy is clearly done.

and Kennedy may not be something special

but he’s not playing DFA worthy ball. It may be a wasteful

He’s not a liability, which is my core concern. He is, however, providing opportunity costs to Ryan and is trending down as he’s being platooned in less. DFA? In my opinion, no.

Which is fine with me

as long as he’s in the 2 hole.

Plus, Albert is fond of Solo shots this year

so if AK can just do his GIDP every time , Pujols will hit more homeruns.

You mind basing that off of....

stats?

Wasn’t his 2nd GIDP this game? Wasn’t both of his GIDP with Molina on 1st?

Look, I liked signing his contract as much as the next guy, not at all. but it’s done.

but calling the guy garbage and clamoring dfa is highly over the top in my opinion.

He had a solid set of games in the #2 hole this year, he was platooned out and never came back to the #2 hole, but the GDIP attribution is quite false.
