Stanley F. Musial SONG
Does anyone have a copy of the song featured on the 80's Cardinals video about Stan Musial...
it has the lyrics:
In a Pennsylvania town in nineteen twenty one
To a miner and his wife one day was born a son:
Stanley F. Musial, swinging Stan the Man
He's the man that thrills the fans,
Swinging Stan the Man.
CHORUS:
Stan the Man,
Stan the Man.
He's the man who thrills the fans,
Swinging Stan the Man
I need a digital audio file of this ASAFP. The Cardinals want to play it at the game today (Sunday). Thanks.

Nothing digital
the song was (also) on “St. Louis Cardinals the Movie” which was a team history video. I have it on VHS (as do many others) but I can’t convert it to MP3 or anything.

There is a very good
free program called Audacity (google it) download and install. If you have a good sound card or good onboard sound with windows xp you should be offered a choice of a choice yorecord ” what you hear” or “record console.” choose either and record and edit in Audicity. then you can export as a wave or mp3 file. You have to download a plugin (lame) and install to export mp3 files but it is easy to download and install. Good program, everybody should have it.

That was a catchy little ditty
But on the subject of that video, let me just vent this cloud of rage I’ve been holding onto for about twenty years, to wit: holy crap what was up with that stupid apropos-of-nothing animated section in the middle —you know what I’m talking about -- “The Kid.” The animation was horrible, that song was jaw-droppingly cheesy and it went on for like twenty minutes. Ugh.
