Cards in San Diego
I am currently in the military stationed in San Diego Ca. I will be attending every game of the upcoming series against the horrid Padres. I really lucked out and got tickets four rows behind the birds dugout for all 3 games. The final year in Busch I had a picture taken with Pujols. I have been wanting to get it signed since the day the picture was taken. I plan to be there when the gates open for all the games, as we all know BP is one of the funnest parts of going to the game. Any suggestions of how I can make this happen. Thank You.

Try asking...
Kevin:
Exercise some patience young padawan. You’re best bet is probably waiting for the Winter Warm-up in January. That’s a long time to wait but is probably worth it considering its a personal keepsake.
Or you could give me the picture and I’ll have him sign it. We’ve been best friends since I taught him how to hit… :)

Have fun...
too bad its a weekday series or I would make the drive from Yuma…stupid Yuma. My advice is to scream “HEY ALBERT” over and over until he approaches you. When he starts to reach out to choke you, hold up the pic at the last second…once he sees it he will be cool and sign it for you. Sometimes he plays “hard to get”, so this may require that you scream the entire game. Don’t think that he is ignoring you, its just a test.

I actually went to a Cardinals Padres game
When I was in boot camp in 98. I got introuble because we were suppose to only cheer when the Padres did something good. I ended up on the quaterdeck for a good half hour when we got back to MCRD.
Oh, and some jackass above use poored beer on us. Nothing like being able to smell beer and not drink it. Of course, the guy ran away when one of the DI’s went to go talk to him.
