I'm writing a final paper for my Probability and Statistics class at school and wanted to base it off the Cardinals, as I very much love Baseball, and statistics are readily at hand.
So the basic instructions of the paper are:
*Make a hypothesis comparing two separate population means and gather data to test your hypothesis
The crux of this project is that my sample size has to be 30 in each population. I had wanted to compare the pitching of the 1982 Cardinals WS Champs to the 2006, but could not because each team didn't have 30 pitchers.
I may have to change the project to something like major league starting pitchers of 1985 compared to 2005, etc.
Knowing that, I would love some insight/suggestions of interesting cardinals/basbeball stats that you guys think I should measure.
