These are so cool
Thanks for scanning them in. I especially like this one. I don't think I've ever seen a more bad-ass songbird. Clearly they were anticipating Bob Gibson's impending arrival.

I have this scorecard
In my office with the ticket from Thursday June 23rd 1955 attached and the score card filled out from the game with the Phillies... Wally Moon and Bill Virdon hit homers in the Cards 7-1 win..... It's one of my prized pieces of Cards memorabilia.
Bad-ass songbird
I saw some Cards hats and shirts with this version of a Cardinal. I didn't like it at the time, but seeing that it's a throwback to the 50s it's a little bit cooler.

i noticed
after i posted this one that some user on here (can't remember who) has a modified version of it as his/her avatar. so, certainly the image has some popularity.
go cards, o's, and phillies.
...boiler up.
where
where did you see hats and shirts with this logo – I love it…..

made some stuff similar to this a couple of years ago. Check shop.MLB.com and the sale stuff.
The head looks an awful lot like the football Cardinals' helmet logo
I wonder if this predates the football Cardinals' helmet logo
I love these...
I like to do some graphic design things as a hobby with Cardinals stuff (see schedule background I put in fanposts). Any chance I could get the larger scans e mailed to me?

I have this on a shirt. Every time I wear it the Cards lose. So at the beginning of each season, I promptly tuck it away in my closet so it never sees the light of day during the season. My Cardinals NL Champion 2006 shirt, on the other hand, gets the Cards a win every time I wear it. I can’t wear it too often of else it will lose its luster.
How can this be a Busch Stadium scorecard from 1955?
Didn’t Busch open in 1966? Or am I missing something completely obvious to everyone but me?
I'm an idiot
just realized that Sportsman’s Park was renamed Busch Stadium in 1953. My only justification is that I was born over 30 years later. :)
thanks a lot
for these. you don’t see designs like that now-a-days. its all about sharp edges and drop shadows – while this type of stuff is really “where its at”.
thanks again and please post more as hey come along.
