crazy thing on the videos I've seen is
the Giants fans are really cheering. They were psyched about Pujols hitting that homer. Sounds like a home game. The announcers sound dreadful.

keep em comin
I dont know of anything, other than an inning continuing error, that will deflate a team's morale faster than 2 out hits/scoring.

after franklin's first kinda shaky start we
started calling alcoholic drinks "franklins"
so a pseudo drinking game was made with him
if he gives up a fly ball to the warning track you take a sip
if he gets a one two 3 inning you finish your franklin

Pujolsian decision
to sacrifice the out for the runs. Since Skippy has struggled on the bases tonight, he'd figure he'd give him alittle bit extra time.

It's fine
so long as it's not in the late innings in a tight game.
Which, consequently, is where the wave makes frequent appearances at Busch.

Is he the strange fan who's at every game and who everyone knows about?
When I was a kid going to Albuquerque Dukes games (before the bolted and were replaced by the Isotopes - thank you, Simpsons), there was a guy who sat behind home plate and had a strange little stuffed animal he swung around on a little souvenir bat. He always got up and led the singing during the 7th inning stretch. I think he had cerebral palsy, although I had no idea what that was at the time. Seeing him was one of my favorite parts of going to the games.

400lb bald guys in orange body paint from head to toe. with the letters SF in black on his face. carrying orange Hulk hands.
and that's just the last half inning on FSN Bay Area. they were scanning the crowd.
like i said, no offense meant towards anyone on here from the Bay. but wow.

Ha!
Thanks for the descriptions, gdm and Harknights. I had this notion of laid back fans, but I'm probably confusing SF with southern California. I should know better - I've spent some time in SF and seen some interesting folks....
I don't know why I'd really have much idea of any California team fans; I've never been to any games out there.
