Glaus Pinch-run/Back

Almost lost in the discussion about the last game was subject of the pinch runner for Glaus in the 9th inning.  My fantasy update says that he has a stiff back.  Is able to play tonight?  Or is he going to be on the bench

BTW, did Barton say/do something that drew the ire of La Russa?  Why did Miles pinch hit earlier in that game and not Barton?  Let's see what BB does tonight.

Barton

Is starting today. Tony has said nothing but great things about him all year.

I'm not sure if it's been decided yet about Glaus

but I'd bet he sits. Tony talked awhile back about sitting Glaus once a series but he hasn't sat once. Then again, being that Glaus is a veterean I'm sure TLR lets him pick his off day.s

Ok Skippy... you're starting. Now START HITTING!

I hope he's playing tonight

I like his chances vs. Zito. He should start whenever possible against LHP . I'd space his off days around right handed starters whenever possible.

in ST...

... Glaus didn't travel to one of the games because he had a stiff back and didn't want to get in the plane/bus for several hours.

at least, i think that was Glaus. it was definitely somebody, but i can't be 100% who it was.

Bus trip across FLA

I was at the Twins game in Ft Myers and Glaus, Molina and Pulois remained behind instead of riding the bus two plus hours each way.
