Marcus Giles anyone?

He's one of those veteran players that TLR loves, and he's not been good lately. 5 years ago I would have loved to have him on the Cards, but now I'm so so. Could he possibly be worse than Kennedy?

with towers hung out to dry. looks like we'll see francis, cook, and jimenez in our opening series with the nl champs.

I'm surprised they cut Towers loose. From what I've read Morales's velocity is way down and he's been struggling to do much of anything productive. I guess they have confidence that he'll get straightened out.

he hit well for the rockies in ST: (321/.457/.536 28 AB). they just decided to go with youth - Jayson Nix.

yuck...

please no more scrap heap players. There's already enough mediocrity in town. At this point I'd rather just see the young guys get a chance. If Kennedy and Izturis falter bring on Ryan and Hoff.
