I read that yesterday and found it informative.

One of the teams that I'm most interested as the season unfolds is the Nationals. Jim Bowden has taken some risky players on, even though he didn't give up much to get them. If one of them, say Lastings Milledge, pays off they have the beginning of a good core to build around Ryan Zimmerman. And they appear to have some good trade chips with being able to deal any one of Kearns, Young, Johnson to a contender.

I have seen the team referred to as the island of misfit toys but as a baseball fan, I can't wait to see how it unfolds.

She isn't crazy, she's just not impressed.

Yeah, dunno why it was dead--I worked fine when I posted and then checked and double-checked. As far as where I should put posts, guess I need to get caught up on the forum posting rules for new format.

But I don't know if I understand as to why it would be a fanshot.
