Either Gameday is slow ...

or their off to a late start today ...

I thought this Post might be a decent way of doing some testing for the new sight ... everything I've used has worked great so far ... the new design is a siginificant improvement to a sight that was already tops ... THANKS Larry for putting together such a quality site for us all to congregrate in ... it's the best available!

It's cool isn't it ?

I didn't think the upgrade was going to be that big a deal ... but these are some really good, useful enhancements ...

I am

Left before Pujols' first AB came back right after Barton's triple.

Ryan and Molina both smoked the ball against Johan. Ludwick did to but Reyes made a great diving catch to rob him of a single.

At some point, the line of 'just trying to get his work in, not worried about results' for Johan and the Mets has to get tired. He's throwing at a weaker velocity and missing alot of his spots, getting hammered for it.

Can I tell you how nice it is to have a SS again that has a strong arm?

Waino's...

looking pretty dang good this Spring. Here's hoping he picks up where he left off last season.

Brian Barton would be a HOF'er

on astroturf. With his speed and his chopping infield hits, he'd hit .350.

Yeah, he would have fit right in with the White Rat ...

He was born in the wrong decade ... but you're right tyler ... it looks like he's made the team ... especially give Gonzalez's health concerns ... ok by me ... we need speed.

Brian Barton

Isn't it about to the point where they're going to have to keep him? He's shown some pop, he's shown really nice speed, he can make contact regularly, his fielding could be a bit better but it's not horrendous or anything.

I feel like he's made more than enough of a case for the Cardinals to keep him on this team. Especially with word coming that Cleveland will not allow the Cardinals to retain him if he does not make the roster. I think this guy needs to be a part of our team. He's too good a hitter.

Troy Glaus refuses to get cheated when he swings

he just hopes you throw it at his bat.

Waino's curve

MLB.tv people - Shannon and Rooney were saying earlier that Wainwright's curve is in regular season form - is that showing on the video?

it looks pretty good. His cutter or slider (hard to tell what it is) is REALLY sharp. Alot of great movement.

Gameday...

confuses the hell out of me with the picture of Juan Rincon with a Cardinals hat. I get mixed up with what team is doing what.

is going to use up all of his hits before we start the regular season.

I thought Marti

was optioned to AAA Camp. Is he up because of Gonzalez. Same with Phelps yesterday.

I thought the same thing ...

that he'd already been sent down ... I was surprised to see him on list of available players for the game today ... I don't know why he's there but I'm glad he is ... I'd like to see him on the bench sometime soon ... he's a great player ...

thompson looks good today...

and I love how the mets announcers are completely disregarding the ball game that is going on so they can continue to dwell on last year. If i was a mets fan I would be so sick of hearing about that crap...

Dude

You have about four first rounders on your team. Is this a money league?
