Cardinal Payroll Update?

I haven't seen an updated 2008 team roster with payroll data recently ... thought with the Lohse signing, this might be a good time for one ... does anybody have this information available?

Cot's Baseball Contracts has all the info on individuals. You'll have to do the addition yourself, but it only lists 40 ML contracts, then delineates the Minor League ones.

Juan Encarnacion's salary, or is that just a "sunk cost"? I know the Cards have to pay him, but I'm wondering if there's some bookkeeping legerdemain that takes that money off the "payroll" account...

about what was expected

earlier in the offseason dewitt said that they would probably raise payroll to between $105-110 million. let's see how high he's willing to go next year, especially if we have more salary room to maneuver with.
